The PAROC SSB 1 sound-absorbing board is a non-combustible stone wool insulation that creates a sound-absorbing layer (steps) that reduces impact sound when used in floating floors. The fiber orientation in the SBB sound absorbing board is mainly horizontal, in contrast to e.g. roof or foundation board (disturbed fibers). The horizontal direction of the fibers results in a lower dynamic stiffness value of the plate, which means better sound insulation than the impact sound. The compression of the plate under compression is 15 kPa, which means that the plate can withstand 1500 kg / m2 of weight during assembly and use.
Non-flammable stone wool slab intended mainly for sound insulation of concrete floors "floating" on ceilings between floors. A concrete screed with a thickness of min. 5 cm.
Invariability of reaction to fire when exposed to heat, factor in climate and time of use: Fire properties of mineral wool do not deteriorate with time. The European classification of the product is related to the content of the organic binder, which does not increase over time.
Unchanging thermal resistance under the influence of heat, factor in climatic conditions and time of use: Thermal conductivity of a mineral wool product is unchanged over time, years of experience have shown that the structural fibers are stable and that there are no gases other than atmospheric air in the pores of the product
